Sounds like you're busy enough for all of us...a real pioneer woman. Just thinking about it makes me want to watch some reruns of "Little House."

peace~elaineelaine @ peace for the journeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09675745465728814736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3917490471163133687.post-38285195456839720862008-07-14T18:47:00.000-04:002008-07-14T18:47:00.000-04:00Wildlife is a good thing! A chain saw! We moved into a great older house quite a few years ago. I had casually mentioned to my sweetheart as we contemplated changes to the house that someday I would like to remove the staircase wall, open it up and add a banister. All was going well on moving day until my sweetheart, his father and my father tried to get our queen-sized bed upstairs to the master bedroom. The turn into the stairway was too narrow. Our dressers wouldn't go up either. So - my sweetheart went outside to his pickup, grabbed his chainsaw and came back into the house! 'You wanted an open staircase? Well, today's the day', he said. Within minutes - through the smoke and haze the chainsaw created - an open staircase emerged. Beds and dressers were delivered to upstairs bedrooms and we were happy. I'm sure the neighbors wondered what we were doing in the house.
~Adrienne~Adriennehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09401476871614514660noreply@blogger.com
