There are so many special days in the lives of our children. Days we'll hold in our hearts forever.
Like their first haircut.
When they learn to tie their own shoes.
When they're all dressed up for a special occasion.
When you realize that the baby you were carrying so close to your heart just nineteen short years ago has grown into a handsome, talented, young man.
"I pray that God would fill your heart with dreams
And that faith gives you the courage
To dare to do great things
I'm here for you whatever this life brings
So let my love give you roots
And help you find your wings"

This is one of the most creative posts I have seen lately. Simply put, yet profoundly impacting.
Tell your son that I am so proud of him for wanting to serve our country.
My prayers go with him and with you as you walk the days ahead. Please keep me posted on his progress and yours as mom!

What a beautiful tribute to your son...
Thanks for visiting my blog today and I am glad you liked the picture of the black kitchen cabinetry. If you like, you can send me your email address as I have a few more that might help you visualize your future kitchen!
You must be very proud of your handsome son!

You have to be one of the proudest mothers in the world! And you should be. But it's so hard to let them go into the world on their own. He is a tribute to your love and training through the years. Thank him for me for being willing to serve our country.
Please stop by and check my blog when you get a few minutes. You might be glad you did!
Take care, my friend -

Oh! That was so sweet! He looks great and I know you are proud of him!
Beautiful! We will keep him close in prayer.
Hugs!
What a giving soul both you and your son possess. We are all in his debt for what he is willing to do. I will pray that God watches over him and can give you comfort and pride for the young man you have raised!
PS- very handsome - don't we all just love a man in uniform??
Hugs!
Colleen
What a wonderful blog about your son. He is very handsome. I have a daughter 19 also. It is true, you blink and they are grown. Although every time she says she is moving out I beg her to stay. My husband thinks it is time for her to move on, but I tell him I have not taught her everything she needs to know in the REAL world. LOL.. BEE HAPPY, Missy
Truly, a touching post. Thank you, your family and your precious son for serving our country. I am humbled to have such amazing people preserve my freedom.
