Well, my dear Junque Syster Vintage Girl, I plan to have a frilly, girly guest bedroom where you can stay when you come to visit. As far as the old wood goes, I guess for us junque addicts, the line from the famous movie SHOULD have been, "if we tear it down, they will come". I promise I'll let you know when the demolition of a couple of the old outbuilding commences so you can come! :)
Your music to Somewhere in Time goes perfectly with the slideshow. I love that music so much that years ago I sat down and figured it out on the piano and wrote it out so I could play it anytime I want!
Kathy, Somewhere in Time is probably my all time favorite movie. My son is a flutist, so this particular arrangement has extra special meaning to me. Of course he's told me that the "correct name" is something like Rhapsody on a Theme by . . . maybe Paganini?! I dunno. Just know I like the music! I'd love to hear you play it some time!
I'm a child of the King! I'm married to the most wonderful man in the world. I'm the mother of a very handsome, talented and extremely entertaining nearly twenty-one-year-old, who has embarked on an adventure of his own as he serves his country as an army medic in the mid-East. I'm old enough to be getting mail from AARP, but young enough to enjoy shooting straw papers across the table at unsuspecting people in restaurants. I am fortunate to have some of the most wonderful friends a girl could ask for . . .sisters in every sense of the word. My husband and I have just recently moved from "Eden" in Florida to "the promised land" in the hills of Kentucky. Join with us as we begin our wonderful adventure on Goldens Creek.
